Fifty people have been detained by police in the capital city for harassment. Riyadh police has implemented anti-harassment laws. Based on the complaints from residents the Riyadh police has arrested fifty persons harassing the public in two days.

Police also detained fifty one persons for violating public decorum laws. 22 men and 29 women were held for not maintaining public decency by wearing inappropriate clothes in public areas.

Saudi Arabian police has got strict with regard to anti-harassment and public decorum laws after the ban on women driving was lifted.
